Firebirds 11u-Jacob

TRYOUTS: We are looking for one player to complete our roster. We would like to have this player be a pitcher, left side infielder, or outfielder. Please contact rjacob81@gmail.com for more information.

Firebirds 11u-Jacob is made up of players born in 2013 or 2014 (advanced) moving up to the 11u B level starting in Fall 2024. At the 11u (essentially 12u) level, the primary objective is to have fun and learn/develop a love and respect for the game of softball. The other primary goal is skill development and game sense/strategy to be able to compete and also to prepare to compete at the B and Open levels. Coach Jacob has eight years of experience coaching softball including four years coaching travel ball. Coach Fall has four years of travel softball and baseball coaching experience. Coach Dillingham is a retired teacher with over thirty years of travel/high school softball coaching experience and won a Maryland 4A state championship as the head coach of Gaithersburg High School. Coach Richardson has coached softball for four years and travel ball for one.
